In the second minute of the first of two pre-season friendlies with the Spanish side at Anfield on Monday, the 16-year-old picked the ball up on the halfway line and drove 30 yards before curling a delightful effort into the corner.

The forward made his Liverpool debut in the FA Cup earlier this year and was included in Arne Slot's squad for their pre-season tour to Hong Kong and Japan this summer, where he scored in their 3-1 win over Yokohama F.Marinos.
