Turkish media outlet A Spor report that Mourinho has urged Fenerbahce to recruit Chiesa this summer. The Italy international joined the Reds last year but has made only four Premier League appearances so far this season, being troubled by injuries while being blocked from the first-team by the incredible form of Anfield icon Mohamed Salah.

Mourinho is reportedly keen to add to his wide options at Fenerbahce, who are set to finish second behind Galatasaray at the top of Turkey's Super Lig. Chiesa was signed for only €12m during a quiet summer transfer window for Liverpool last year and the report claims the newly crowned Premier League champions would want €10m to let the winger leave.

Chiesa has a rather anxious few weeks ahead despite Liverpool wrapping up the league title. The 27-year-old needs to make another appearance before the end of the campaign to qualify for a winners' medal, having managed only 33 minutes in four substitute cameos so far. He was left on the bench by manager Arne Slot on Sunday for the 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur.
