Parkinson has not disappointed. He has overseen back-to-back promotions, with Wrexham bouncing straight through League Two after claiming the National League title in record-breaking style.

DID YOU KNOW?

Parkinson has passed 200 games in charge of the Red Dragons and boasts a win ratio of over 60 per cent. He is a legend in the eyes of many, but others have asked questions of his methods – with accusations of favouring a defensive mindset seemingly never far away.
