Fati's proposed switch to Monaco has collapsed after Barcelona rejected the Ligue 1 side's opening offer, reports. Monaco's proposal was a loan deal without covering full salary of the Spanish winger, whose current wages remain high following a previous contract extension. The Catalan giants declined the offer, as the club is unwilling to subsidise a player's salary while they are away on loan.

For Barca, he played only 11 matches in all competitions during the 2024-25 campaign, including six La Liga appearances and no goal contributions. With coach Hansi Flick leaving him out of the squad for several matches, Fati's future in Catalunya remains uncertain.
